Is December 21, 2012, the End of the World 

A lot of people are concerned that the Mayan prophecies and a few other doomsday predictions all piont to the End of the World on December 21,2012. I guess that I would not fall into that group of people, and I hope that you do not also. It is interesting to see people at least concerned that we are living in precarious times and are at the end of this age as predicted by the Bible. But the sudden destruction of the world on December 21,2012  just does not compute.

My Personal Belief

My personal belief is that the world will not end on December 21,2012. This is just another scare tactic like Y2K if you all remember that big fuddy duddy. The world will still be around after the big event of December 21, 2012. I believe that the good Lord has a time table for everything under the sun, as summerized in this scripture in Eccl: 3:1

1To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

2A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

3A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

4A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

5A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

6A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

7A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

8A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

So when it is time for the world to be destroyed or go thru another phase of evolution as the atheists might believe, then it will be right on time with what the good Lord says it will be …you know, he’s never late on anything. Always right on time…….. Yeah
